How to See Your Doctor

Appointments may be pre-booked up to 4 weeks in advance.

Please telephone between 08:30 - 12.30 or 14:30 – 18:00 to speak to our reception staff who will give you advice on availability of appointments.

You may also book online via the link at the top of this page. To register for your username and password to access the online prescription and appointment booking system please bring photo ID to reception.

Patients requesting an urgent appointment will be offered a telephone appointment with the duty doctor. During the telephone call to the patient, the doctor will offer the appropriate care plan. The outcomes may include: telephone advice, to make a routine appointment, issue of a prescription or given an urgent appointment with the duty doctor.

Evening Appointments

We have a limited number of evening appointments available every week. Access to these appointments will be reserved for patients who work regular business hours and have difficulty having time off during the day.

How to See the Practice Nurse

All appointments with our practice nurse are booked in advance.  Reception staff will ask you which service you require when you book to ensure that you are given a suitable appointment time and length of appointment.

The Practice recognises the right of patients to express a preference of practitioner.  Wherever possible we will offer an appointment with your preferred clinician.

Interpreting Service

If you need an interpreter to accompany you to your consultation, please contact Sussex Interpreting Services (SIS) directly on 702005. Alternatively, contact the surgery and a receptionist will be able to do this on your behalf for pre-booked appointments.

If English is not your first language and you are struggling to make yourself understood please ring SIS on 01273 702005.

A British sign language interpreting service is also available.  Please ask at reception.

Both interpreting services are provided free of charge for all patients.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
